[MassHistPres] Houses with Preservation Restrictions

Someone has asked these questions:  

I would like to know if it is possible for a member of the general public to tour inside the Short-Knight House? Is it required to be open one day a year as a condition of the Preservation Restriction on the house?

I was not aware that a preservation restriction has this caveat.  I do not want to give out the wrong information.  I am hoping one of you can assist.
