REQUEST FOR QUOTES

RFQ # 2019-032



The City of Holyoke, by and through the Holyoke Historical Commission, is
seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to
undertake the “Holyoke Main Street Corridor Historic Properties Survey.”
Responses must be received at the Purchasing Department, Holyoke City Hall,
536 Dwight Street, Holyoke, Massachusetts 01040, on or before 10:00 am,
Monday, September 9, 2019.



The City of Holyoke reserves the right to reject all bids or to waive any
informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City’s best
interest.



The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available electronically by
request after 10:00 am, Thursday, August 8, 2019 at: belangerl at holyoke.org
and or sheridanb at holyoke.org.



Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: A Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any
of the above-mentioned areas.



Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and e-mailed to
belangerl at holyoke.org by 10:00 am on Wednesday, August 21, 2019. The City
will response to questions by Wednesday, August 28.
