The Town of Medway (“Town”), 155 Village Street, Medway, MA is seeking written quotes for qualified historic preservation consultant services to provide professional research and documentation services to complete a National Register nomination meeting current Massachusetts Historical Commission and National Park Service standards.  Written quotes (referred to hereinafter as “bids” or “quotes”) must be received by the Community & Economic Development Department no later than 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2019.

Town of Medway office hours:
Monday 7:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m.
Tuesday through Thursday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
Friday 7:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.


The Town reserves the right to reject any or all quotes or to cancel this RFQ if it is deemed to be in the Town’s best interest to do so.

The Request for Quotes (RFQ) is available upon request by contacting Medway’s Department of Community and Economic Development by email at bsaintandre at townofmedway.org<mailto:bsaintandre at townofmedway.org> , or at (508) 321-4918.   The RFQ package will be sent to interested bidders within 24 hours in PDF format. Bidders must meet the following minimum qualifications:   (1) Bachelor’s Degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History or a closely related field and at least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project; or (2) Master’s Degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History or a closely related field.

All written questions regarding this Request for Quotes must be received by the Town no later than 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, August 7, 2019 and addressed to the attention of Barbara J. Saint Andre, Director, Community and Economic Development, Town of Medway and may be e-mailed, and if e-mailed must be marked in the subject line “RFQ Evergreen Cemetery National Register nomination” to  bsaintandre at townofmedway.org<mailto:bsaintandre at townofmedway.org> or faxed to (508) 533-3281.
