Request for Quotes for Professional Historic Properties Survey Services

The Planning & Development Department of the Town of Barnstable hereby requests the submittal of Quotes from qualified individuals or firms for preservation consulting services to provide professional research and documentation services to complete a historic properties survey meeting current Massachusetts Historical Commission survey standards.

The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request after 10:00 am, Wednesday, July 31, 2019 at the Town of Barnstable Procurement Office, 230 South Street, Hyannis, MA  02601 or by contacting the Purchasing Agent, Amber Patterson by e-mail or telephone at amber.patterson at town.barnstable.ma.us<mailto:amber.patterson at town.barnstable.ma.us>, 508-862-4742.

Proposals will be received at the Town of Barnstable Procurement Office by Amber Patterson, Purchasing Agent, 230 South Street Hyannis, MA 02601 by 12PM, Noon, August 28, 2019.

The Town of Barnstable reserves the right to reject any and all bids if deemed in the Town's best interest.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
