Definitely NOT a waste of time. Hi Rafa, I am your “next door neighbor” in Berkley.

I don’t think what you are trying to do is insurmountable. I would compile the history of Capt Crane and the home (I passed it almost daily and was so sad to see it go), and decide how you would like the space/memorial to look. The more specific you can be the more likely to get what you envision. Then appeal to the Aggie School Board of Trustees.

I will be happy to discuss this with you in more detail if you would like

Nathaniel Crane House (circa 1775) that was eventually demolished last August 23, 2019 to give way to a new state-of-the-art building belonging to the Bristol Agricultural County High School (BCAHS). The school had bought the property on which the house stood, but the school was not interested in keeping the house, so it offered it to anyone for free as long as the taker could move the house to another location. Alas, we could not find a taker after almost two years of search.

However, I am not exactly sure how to proceed from here. If any of you have made a similar proposal, I would appreciate any advice and would like to know the end result. If not, do you think this proposal is worth pursuing, or would it be a waste of time?
