Yes, we lease the town-owned Houghton Memorial Building for $1 a year. Per the lease, the town is responsible for maintaining the structure of the building and repair of the systems of the building (HVAC, plumbing, electrical) although we are responsible for keeping the systems in good, working order. We pay for all utilities. Over the years, we have paid for repairs or improvements to the building. The lease is 99 years. That is the gist of our agreement.

If so, what is your agreement with the town? Are you issued a lease or a license?
Thank you
