Ron Karr <ronald_Karr at uml.edu> has written extensively about railroads, especially in northern Middlesex. He would be a good person to contact.

Hello All!

I am helping my local library plan a program featuring topics in local transportation. Someone suggested that we ask someone to speak about the history of trains in Massachusetts, especially in our region, Middlesex County, North of Boston. Does anyone have any ideas as to where I might be able to find such a speaker?

(Also, if there is anyone who speaks to the history of the building of Route 93 and the interstate highway system, that would also be considered appropriate for the program!)

Any tips appreciated!
