[MassHistPres] Storm windows

Harvey Industries is no longer manufacturing its Tru-Channel line of triple-track storm windows.

ProVia's Town & Country line might be an acceptable substitute. It comes with mitered corners in a triple-track format (so it has an operable screen) for use in double-hung windows. Here is their web link: https://www.provia.com/aluminum-storm-windows.

Another possibility is Coastal Industries' Pacer Triple-Track Combination Storm or Coastal 8000 Heavy Duty Storm: https://ciiwindowsanddoors.com/aluminum-and-storm-windows/.

Allied Windows still manufactures their “Invisible” exterior or interior storms: www.alliedwindow.com/.

ProVia's products were recently substituted for Harvey's on a recent Cambridge project, so we have only the most limited experience with them. What have others found?

Subject: [MassHistPres] Storm windows

I have been told that Harvey no longer makes their excellent Tru-Channel storm windows. The web site seems to confirm that, as there is no mention of them. That seems astonishing, given how highly recommended they have been for years.

Can someone confirm that?

If so, what is being recommended as an alternative brand?
