I always considered harvey tru-channel to be a ‘contractor grade’ storm...decent but
with flaws....allied and monray are pricey but, if one has the budget, they are far superior....
the lead time is l-o-n-g....
https://www.alliedwindow.com/
https://www.monray.com/mon-ray-storm-windows/
one must contact the manufacturer to get the contact info for a local authorized installer....
for those who prefer a wood storm window that is installed the same as those from a few generations
back, they are still being made by smaller sash shops...the big difference in the newly milled ones is that
the glass and screen inserts are interchangeable from the interior...no more climbing a ladder to the second
floor to change out winter’s glass storm for summer’s screen storm and storing them in the barn...

for those concerned with UV light affects on furniture and artifacts, low e glass is available...
install a storm, you’ll be glad you did!

Harvey Industries is no longer manufacturing its Tru-Channel line of triple-track storm windows.
ProVia's Town & Country line might be an acceptable substitute. It comes with mitered corners in a triple-track format (so it has an operable screen) for use in double-hung windows. Here is their web link: https://www.provia.com/aluminum-storm-windows.
Another possibility is Coastal Industries' Pacer Triple-Track Combination Storm or Coastal 8000 Heavy Duty Storm: https://ciiwindowsanddoors.com/aluminum-and-storm-windows/.
Allied Windows still manufactures their “Invisible” exterior or interior storms: www.alliedwindow.com/.
ProVia's products were recently substituted for Harvey's on a recent Cambridge project, so we have only the most limited experience with them. What have others found?

I have been told that Harvey no longer makes their excellent Tru-Channel storm windows. The web site seems to confirm that, as there is no mention of them. That seems astonishing, given how highly recommended they have been for years.
Can someone confirm that?
If so, what is being recommended as an alternative brand?
