Historic Survey Project

The Town of Marblehead, by and through the Marblehead Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the "Peach's Point, Naugus Head, West Shore and Preston Beach Neighborhoods Historic Properties Survey."
Responses must be received at the Office of the Board of Selectmen Abbot Hall 188 Washington Street, Marblehead, Massachusetts 01945, on or before August 16, 2021 at 10:00 AM

The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request beginning July 15, 2021 at Office of the Board of Selectmen, Town of Marblehead 188 Washington Street, Marblehead, MA 01945 (781) 631-0000.  Office hours are Monday, Tuesday, Thursday 8 AM to 5 PM, Wednesday 8 AM to 6 PM and Friday 8 AM to 12:30 PM or by registering at https://www.marblehead.org/procurement-department/pages/bids

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
Questions regarding the RFQ must be written e-mailed to both rebeccac at marblehead.org  and pat.mhdhc at gmail.com  by August 9th 2021.

The Town of Marblehead reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed to be in the best interest of the Town.
