TOWN OF FAIRHAVEN
REQUEST FOR QUOTES
RFQ # M-05
The Town of Fairhaven, by and through the Fairhaven Historical Commission,
is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to
undertake the “Fairhaven Historic Properties Survey Update.” Responses must
be received at the Office of the Planning Department, Fairhaven Town Hall,
40 Center Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts 02719, on or before 10:00 am,
Wednesday, August 18, 2021.
The Town of Fairhaven reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to
waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s
best interest.
The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request
after 10:00 am, Monday, July 19, 2021 at the Office of the Planning
Department, Fairhaven Town Hall, 40 Center Street, Fairhaven, Massachusetts
02719 or by contacting the Planning Department by e-mail or telephone at
pfoley at fairhaven-ma.gov or (508) 979-4082 extension 122.
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any
of the above mentioned areas.
The RFQ may be viewed and printed from
https://www.fairhaven-ma.gov/planning-economic-development within the
Planning Department, under Open Bids, RFQ# M-05.
Questions regarding the RFQ must be written and either e-mailed to
pfoley at fairhaven-ma.gov or faxed to (508) 979-4079.
