The Chatham Historical Commission is beginning to discuss demolition by neglect and is interested to know if there are any bylaws in place in other towns that may help craft similar bylaws in Chatham when/if the time comes to do so. Also, there have been a few instances recently in which the contractor/owner demolished more of a contributing structure in the National Register District than was approved by the Commission. What processes do you follow when such situations occur?
Thank you
