[MassHistPres] Halo Lighting

How have you dealt with proposals for Halo Lighting or back lit signage in
your historic district? Technically not interior lit which is not allowed
per local bylaws but dim lighting behind the sign to illuminate. Being
proposed for a large, recently built building in the historic district. We
have allowed once or twice in the past but have been mixed on this type of
lighting/signage.
