Good morning,
Pictures would help Peter! You have the right idea by restoring the
victorian doors....put them back up, reinstall weatherstriping to get you
thru the winter and wait for the carpenter or here's another idea--
go to your local trade school carpentry shop and ask them for their help.
It will give the students an appreciation of real wood, a great project for
the shop and much satisfaction all around.
