[MassHistPres] Source for restoring Victorian residential doors

Though Hanover has no local historic districts, sometimes the town's building inspector sends homeowners or contractors my way (as chair of the Historical Commission) to discuss proposed changes/renovations to historic houses in town. Owners of an 1885 house want to replace two quite sturdy exterior doors with new ones. I visited the house, talked to the owners, looked at the doors and suggested they consider restoring the existing the existing doors instead of replacing them. They bind in their frames, peeling paint needs to be removed, hardware replaced, and there is some damage to the doors' recessed panels and surrounding moldings.

Can anyone suggest a person or firm who would take on such work? South Shore location would be ideal, but the owners might be willing to have them taken to a more distant site while the work is done.

Thanks,

Peter Johnson
