Preservation Massachusetts is accepting nominations to the 2022
Massachusetts Most Endangered Historic Resources (MER) List until August 31
*.*

Since 1993, the MER List has focused statewide attention on endangered
historic resources and served as a catalyst for preservation opportunities
across the Commonwealth. The theme of the 2022 MER Program is "Planning for
Community," and we’d like to spotlight resources that are not only
historically significant, but also emphasize continued importance and
possibility to their communities. If you know of any historic resources in
your community that could benefit from this program, please feel free to
share this information with them.

This year, the MER Program features a digital application that can be
submitted directly through our website. To access and submit a nomination
application, please visit https://www.preservationmass.org/mer and click on
the link for the MER Nomination Application Portal. Be sure to also check
out the 2022 MER Application Prep Sheet, which includes helpful information
about the MER program, the application process, and submission
instructions.

Any questions about the Most Endangered Program or its application process
can be directed to Joe Ritter via email at jritter at preservationmass.org.
