Call for Sessions!

2023 Massachusetts Historic Preservation Conference
October 19 and 20, 2023

Hosted by the Massachusetts Preservation Coalition<https://www.preservationmass.org/preservation-coalition>

Planning for the virtual 2023 Massachusetts Historic Preservation Conference is underway! Share your ideas for sessions and presenters for the virtual conference, to be held October 19 and 20, 2023. This biennial statewide conference is an opportunity to gather all involved with preservation, community, and advocacy to learn, share, mentor, and network.

A virtual conference allows us to reach all communities across the Commonwealth. From urban to rural, coastal to inland, our various regions represent diverse approaches to the preservation of our historic buildings, landscapes, histories, sites, and resources. The conference will highlight not only preservation successes, but also challenges and lessons learned.

Call for Virtual Sessions
Proposals should address a trend, issue, challenge, or opportunity through a model project or discussion. Possibilities include but are not limited to:

*         "how-to" of technical preservation

*         preservation practices

The virtual sessions will be augmented by in-person events around the state, hosted by our local partners. Virtual sessions that make connections to in-person events are encouraged!
