[MassHistPres] Renaming your historical society

If it ain’t broken, don’t fix it.
A society is what it is - a group or organization of individuals who share the same mission. I can’t imagine the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals dropping “society” for “alliance” or anything else because the word itself is part of the entity’s history. And there’s nothing elitist about “Society” in SPCA.
Just my two cents.
