Office hours will be held weekly (via Zoom, access from Blackboard) during these times:

• Tue 2:30-4:00pm (Anh)

• Tue 4:00-5:30pm (Stephen)

• Wed 12:30-2:00pm (Nick)

• Thu 3:00-4:30pm (Anh)

• Thu 4:30-6:00pm (Benjamin)

• Fri 12:30-2:00pm (Nick)

• Fri 2:30-4:00pm (Benjamin)

• Fri 4:00-5:30pm (Stephen)

All times are EST (Boston time).

Like lecture, these will also be held using Zoom (see Blackboard for link).

Drop-ins are fine, but it’s better to email in advance, to help me better organize.

These will usually be group meetings, but one-on-ones are available upon request.

4 Textbook

The following textbook is required for this course:

Michael Sipser. Introduction to the Theory of Computation, 3rd edition.

It is widely available, including at the UMB bookstore.

5 Homework

Homework will be usually assigned every week and is due one week after.

Homework out: Mondays 00:00 EST

Homework due: Sunday 23:59 EST
