The Boston Landmarks Commission, by and through the City of Boston, will
be seeking proposals from qualified consultants to serve as an assistant
Preservation Planner. The Preservation Planner will assist the members
of the Boston Landmarks Commission/historic district commission staff in
administering historic districts and other responsibilities under the
Commission's various mandates, and will work a minimum of 15-20 hours a
week.
Applicants must have: 1.) a Bachelor's degree in architectural history,
art history, historic preservation, or a closely related field, plus
practical experience in historic preservation; or 2.) a Master's degree
in any one of the above-mentioned areas. Knowledge of Boston history
and architecture is preferable.

than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, July 6, 2009 to:

All qualified parties will be sent a Request for Proposal upon
submission of a letter of interest and resume. The City of Boston is an

2009 and will be due no later than 5:00 p.m. on Monday, August 10, 2009.
The City of Boston reserves the right to reject any and all proposals.
