[MassHistPres] Request for Proposals - Easton Historic Properties Survey

The Easton Historical Commission, by and through the Town of Easton, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Easton Historic Properties Survey.” The survey will assess and document approximately 160 selected cultural and architectural resources within the North Easton Village area following MHC survey guidelines.  

 

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full‑time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above‑mentioned areas.

 

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be available upon request after 10:00 am, Monday, July 9, 2012 at Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, Easton, Massachusetts 02356. The RFP may also be viewed and printed from www.easton.ma.us, select “Requests for Proposals/Quotes/Bids <http://easton.ma.us/Directory/Notices/RFPs.html> ” from the home page.

 

Proposals must be received at the Office of the Town Administrator/CPO, Easton Town Offices, 136 Elm Street, Easton, Massachusetts 02356, on or before 10:00 am, Wednesday, August 15, 2012.

 

The contract shall be awarded by the Easton Board of Selectmen upon the recommendation of a Town review committee and the CPO. The Town of Easton reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest.

        

Office hours:               Monday, 8:30 am – 7:30 pm

Tuesday – Thursday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm 

Friday, 8:30 am - 12:30 pm
