CITY  OF MEDFORD 
REQUEST FOR  PROPOSALS 
17-0191 
East Medford Phase  II 
Historic Properties  Survey 


The City of Medford (City) is seeking proposals from  qualified historic 
preservation consultants to undertake an intensive-level,  neighborhood survey 
of cultural and architectural resources of East Medford in the City of 
Medford. 
Requests for Proposals will be available at no  cost, beginning July 18, 
2016, at the Purchasing Office, Room 105, Medford City Hall, 85 George P. 
Hassett  Dr., Medford, MA  02155, 781-393-2465, or electronically by emailing  
SKhan at Medford.org.   
Proposers must meet the following minimum  qualifications: a Bachelor’s 
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural  History, History, Art History, 
or a closely related field, plus at least two  years full-time experience in 
an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s  degree in any of the above‑
mentioned areas. 
Sealed Proposals will be received until 2:00 pm on  August 25, 2016 at the 
Purchasing Office, Room 105, City Hall,  85 George P. Hassett  Dr., Medford, 
MA 02155.

faxed to 781-393-2479. 
Office hours:                  Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, 8:30 am to  4:30  
pm 
Wednesday, 8:30 am to 7:30 pm 
Friday, 8:30 am to 12:30 pm 
The City reserves the right to reject any and all  proposals, in whole or 
in part, as determined to be in the best interests of the  City and to waive 
minor informalities.
