Subject: LEGAL NOTICE: TOWN OF BERKLEY REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

 The Berkley Historical Commission, by and through the Town of Berkley, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Berkley Community-wide Historic Properties Survey.”

Proposals must be received by Berkley Historical Commission, c/o Office of the Town Clerk, One North Main Street, Berkley, MA 02779, Attention: Kerrie Easterday on or before 10:00 am, Thursday, August 4, 2016.  Office hours Monday – Thursday 9:30 to 2:30 pm

 The Town of Berkley reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest. 

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Monday, June 27, 2016 by contacting the Secretary of the Berkley Historical Commission, c/o Office of the Town Clerk, One North Main Street, Berkley, MA 02779. 

Attention: Kerrie Easterday or by contacting the Secretary of the Berkley Historical Commission by e-mail or telephone at margecris at comcast.net or (508) 822-3735. 

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
