REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

The Malden Historical Commission, by and through the City of Malden, is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the "Malden Citywide Inventory (2016-2017)." Proposals must be received at the Office of the City Planner, Permits, Inspections & Planning Services, located at 200 Pleasant Street, Room 223 Malden, Massachusetts 02148 before Wednesday, July 20, 2016, and located at 110 Pleasant Street, 2nd Floor, Malden, Massachusetts 02148 after Monday, July 25, 2016, on or before 2:00 pm, Monday, August 8, 2016.

The City of Malden reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the City's best interest.

The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, will be/is available upon request after 10:00 am, Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at the Office of the City Planner, Permits, Inspections & Planning Services, located at 200 Pleasant Street, Room 223 Malden, Massachusetts 02148 before Wednesday, July 20, 2016, or located at 110 Pleasant Street, 2nd Floor, Malden, Massachusetts 02148 after Monday, July 25, 2016, or by contacting the City Planner by email or telephone at mromero at cityofmalden.org<mailto:mromero at cityofmalden.org> or (781) 397-7020.

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor's degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master's degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
