Historic Resources Survey Update Phase 2 

The Gloucester Historical Commission, by and through the City of Gloucester, seeks proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake an intensive-level, community wide survey of cultural and architectural resources in the City of Gloucester. The scope of services is included in the RFP package that will be available on July 8, 2016 at the Office of the Purchasing Agent, 9 Dale Ave., Gloucester, MA 01930, or by calling 978 281 9710, or email purchasing at gloucester-ma.gov. Proposals must be received and will be opened at the Office of the Purchasing Agent no later than Aug. 10, 2016  @ 11:00 am.  Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in historic preservation, architectural history, history, art history, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above-mentioned areas. The City reserves the right to reject any and all proposals or to accept that which is deemed in the best interest of the City of Gloucester, MA.  The City shall not be responsible for proposals arriving late for any reason.
