REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS
The Town of Lenox, by and through the Lenox Land Use Department, is
seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to
undertake the “Lenox Communitywide Historic Preservation Plan”.
Proposals must be received at the Office of the Land Use Director, Lenox
Town Hall, 6 Walker Street, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240 on or before 4:00
p.m. Thursday, August 31stth 2017.
The Town of Lenox reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to
waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed to be the in
Town’s best interest.
The Request for Proposals (RFP), containing scope of work, proposal
requirements, and evaluation criteria, is available upon request after
8:30 a.m. on July 25th at the Office of Land Use Director, Lenox Town
Hall, 6 Walker Street, Lenox, Massachusetts 01240 or by contacting the
Land Use Director by e-mail or telephone at [

Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s
degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art
History or a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time
experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in
any of the above-mentioned areas.
