TOWN OF WINCHESTER
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS

Winchester Old West Side Historic Properties Survey Update
The Town of Winchester (Town) is seeking proposals from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake a neighborhood wide survey of cultural and architectural resources in an area known as the “Old West Side” in the Town of Winchester.

Requests for Proposals will be available at no cost, beginning July 21, 2017, at the Office of the Town Planner, 71 Mount Vernon Street, Winchester, MA 01890, telephone 781-721-7162.


Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full-time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above‑mentioned areas.


Sealed Proposals will be received until 10:00 am on August 25, 2017 at the Office of the Town Planner, 71 Mount Vernon Street, Winchester, MA 01890.

Office hours:           Monday, 8:00 am to 7:00 pm
                              Tuesday – Thursday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm
                              Friday, 8:00 am to 12:00 pm

The Town reserves the right to reject any and all proposals, in whole or in part, as determined to be in the best interests of the Town and to waive minor informalities.
