I have a perhaps corollary question on this issue.
I would be interested in knowing of any historic resource whose acquisition and most particularly its long term stewardship by a no-profit has benefited financially or otherwise from a Land Disposition Agreement involving a government entity or agency. Such agreements, which seem more common in Mass. than elsewhere, stipulate what a developer or owner must, may, and must not do with a property. They may also involve other stakeholders, such as community groups and other government entities. They may have long term or permanent provisions as well as the shorter term ones relating to the immediate development or disposition project.
Best regards,
