[MassHistPres] Open House 12/16 - Framingham's Peter and Sarah Clayes House

Hello all,
Many of you may be familiar with the Peter and Sarah Clayes House in Framingham, reputed to be a "witch house" dating to the late 1600s - although recently dendro-dated to the 1780s. The house had been vacant for a number of years, and was caught up in mortgage and bank issues related to 2008. The building was purchased in 2015 by a group of trustees who wanted to preserve and rehabilitate the building - which they have done! The house will be sold as a single-family residence. It is one of our five local historic districts here in Framingham.

Before the house goes on the market, they are having a public open house for all those interested in seeing the building. It will be held this Sunday, December 16 from 1 to 3 pm at 657 Salem End Road, Framingham. All are invited to attend.
