[MassHistPres] Planned demolition of 18th cent. Clark barn in Richmond

A Pittsfield winery in October purchased the Clark farm in Richmond that
includes a rare surviving 18th century barn.  The timber-framed building
expert, architect Jack Sobon, has dated the building.  It is one of three
18th cent. barns remaining in Richmond.

 

The new owners plan to demolish the barn.  The time of the demolition is
uncertain, and Richmond has no demolition delay law.
