TOWN OF DARTMOUTH
REQUEST FOR QUOTES
RFQ # DHC-19
 
The Town of Dartmouth, by and through the Dartmouth Historical Commission, is seeking responses from qualified historic preservation consultants to undertake the “Dartmouth Community-wide Historic Properties Survey.” Responses must be received at the Office of the Finance Director/Chief Procurement Officer, Dartmouth Town Hall, 400 Slocum Road, Dartmouth, Massachusetts 02747, on or before 4:00 p.m., Monday, August 12, 2019.

Town of Dartmouth Office hours:  Monday – Friday (8:30 am - 4:30 pm)

The Town of Dartmouth reserves the right to reject any and all bids or to waive any informalities in the Proposal process, if deemed in the Town’s best interest. 

The Request for Quotes (RFQ), containing scope of work, proposal requirements, and evaluation criteria, is available upon request on Friday, July 12, 2019 by contacting the Dartmouth Historical Commission’s Local Project Coordinator, Diane M. Gilbert by e-mail at d.m.gilbert at comcast.net <mailto:d.m.gilbert at comcast.net> or by telephone at (508) 965-7265.
 
The requested RFQ bid packages will be sent to interested bidders within 24 hours in PDF format. Paper copy requests can be accommodated.
 
Proposers must meet the following minimum qualifications: a Bachelor’s degree in Historic Preservation, Architectural History, History, Art History, or a closely related field, plus at least two years full time experience in an area relevant to the project; or a Master’s degree in any of the above mentioned areas.
 
All written questions regarding this Request for Quotes must be received by the Town no later than 4 p.m. on Monday, August 5, 2019 and addressed to the attention of Diane M. Gilbert, Local Project Coordinator for the Dartmouth Historical Commission, c/o Town of Dartmouth, and may be faxed to (508) 910-1885 c/o Diane M. Gilbert noting “RFQ Historic Properties Survey,” or may be emailed to d.m.gilbert at comcast.net <mailto:d.m.gilbert at comcast.net>, and if emailed, subject line must be marked “RFQ Historic Properties Survey.”
