[MassHistPres] receiving donations

I'd appreciate any advice that people could provide.

 

Have any Historical Commissions been gifted with a historical monument or
building? What are the issues with accepting such a gift? Are there grants
available for long-term management and upkeep? Legally, are there
requirements that a Commission would need to implement? 

 

We are being offered a windmill that was built in the late 1870s and we are
trying to understand what is involved before we vote to accept.
